How do I pay for a treatment session?


There is a card machine available which accepts Mastercard and Visa payments. You will receive an invoice and a detailed statement with the relevant codes for you to claim back from your respective medical aid.




I am not sure whether I need a physiotherapy appointment. How can I be certain?


Feel free to give Kathy or Carla a call or send her a message via Whatsapp to discuss your condition and concerns. Both are passionate about helping others to find clarity around these concerns.




Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?


In South Africa, Physiotherapists are first-line practitioners. This means that you do not need any referral by a doctor to make an appointment to see a physiotherapist. However, if you feel that it is necessary to see a doctor, or if a physiotherapist feels it is a necessary, a referral can be suggested.




What are the business hours of the practice?


Carla Mowat Physiotherapy is open Monday through to Friday from 08:00 - 17:00. Feel free to give Kathy or Carla a call or send her a Whatsapp to discuss this option.




How do I make a booking on the website?


Please note that we are in the final stages of releasing our new online booking system. You have a few options available for your best convenience. You can make a booking online by clicking on the treatment option that you would like to make an appointment for and click on the "Book now" button. This option can save your appointment on Google calender and will serve as a reminder on your phone. A booking can also be made by simply contacting us via phone call or Whatsapp to make a booking.
